Avoid at all costs. This is borderline a scam. We had a quote that was cheaper from another company and they said they would beat any quote. They came and gave a fixed price for this. Then later they upped the price by $500 when my other options were no longer available. Then they take my belongings and decide to charge me another $800 for the same stuff and blame weight even though I paid for a full container and it’s not even half full. If your contractors say they don’t care how they treat people in a neighborhood they are working in and treat them badly, it reflects badly on you... you may want to update your logistics carriers contracts to include a clause to prevent damage to your reputation.
They moved us to our new home from LA. The packers broke a valuable glass scxonce, one of the packages never arrived at our new home, and there were items that left our old home and never arrived in the delivered load. On Nov 17, 2018 we sent a completed claim form to their matt Miller the Claims Manager. He replied that the claim was being sent to 'Corporate' and that an adjustor would call us within 1 to 15 business days. Overall I had a great experience with Beverly Hills Transfer & Storage. They were quick to come out to give me an estimate and were able to pick up my move within a week of requesting the quote! Gilbert & his team were fantastic- efficient, friendly, and took good care of my stuff. They delivered SO fast too- picked up Thursday AM in Los Angeles and delivered Saturday AM in San Francisco. Throughout the process we had one issue but Chris was quick to fix it & make everything right. Definitely recommend!
