Great find on my visit – I was staying in Beverly Hills this week and found a great local place to eat. I ask a police officer for a recommendation and suggested this great local deli and market right in the heart of Beverly Hills. They had generous portions, delicious tasting food, and very reasonable prices!
flavor less – Misled by Yelp-fanatics again! This hole-in-the-wall "deli" features Boars' Head deli meats. Their sandwiches are slapped together with no regard for flavor or presentation. Pickles are just as flavorless as the sandwiches, with not a kosher sour pickle in sight. You can grab some potato chips or drinks from a cooler in the back. Iceberg lettuce, cardboard tomatoes ... this place has no idea what the word "flavor" means.The service is rude. I won't be heading back to this one.
The Beverly Hills Market & Deli is great. Everything on the Menu is very fresh and tasty. I have tried everything at least once and their Burgers are my favorite. They must have a magical grill b/c the food is the best in town. They always get my order right and the service is fast and courteous. Not only great, but provides a much needed service – This is the ONLY market in the heart of BH that's affordable. There's a senior center right across the street and the only other market that's walkable for them is Whole Foods. No, it's not Dean & Deluca, but Sean and his guys give good food at reasonable prices, and the home-grown atmosphere that's sadly being pushed out of the "Golden Triangle".
