I had an appointment for a new client intake session that was booked well in advance. One hour before my appointment time I was informed the office was closed by Adeola and that virtual was my only option. Since this would’ve been my first time trying therapy out I declined virtual and requested this appointment be canceled and inquired about how / when to reschedule. Horrible experience. The first appointment was perfectly fine. Got there on time and got along well with the therapist. But when I showed up at 9am for another appointment the next week I was completely stood up by the therapist. No heads up and no cancellation email. The door was locked, no one was there, and no one would answer the phone. As someone who has never been to therapy before, I was not expecting something like this to happen.
