After a total left hip replacement, I received EXCELLENT post surgery home health care from all staff sent out to my home. Specifically, I would like to shout out THANKS to Chai, Mari, and Joe for their care and concern regarding my post-op recovery. Please acknowledge these specific staff for their excellence in care and kindness.
My name is Alejandro Soto, Martinez, and I have the Ranch and the privilege of having Better Choice Home Healthcare for all my Healthcare needs not once. But twice, and they have healed my wounds, which, at first had that I would heal, but my nurse, Carissa has hands of gold and Nurse, Anna is amazing as well as herself. If you are in the need for home. Healthcare do not think twice about choosing Better Choice Home health. They will treat you right and get your heels.
Unfortunately the quality of care and knowledge here is lacking. The nurse who came out for intake did not properly assess the patient or environment. The PT that came out for eval/tx of a TKR recommended lunges(lunges are contraindicated for TKR) and decrease to 1x/wk 4 days post (md order was for 2x/wk min) and also did not do an appropriate assessment, review previous significant medical history, discuss goals or plan of care or provide exercises. Documentation in both instances was lacking and misrepresented.
I have been cared for Better Home Choice since 7/10/25. I was a bit reluctant regarding this type care but have seen the complete opposite! Their in home nurses and therapists are phenomenal! Even better than other doctors and nurses from regular medical networks! I am so impressed with their care, thoroughness, kind and generous spirit. They embody professionalism! Thank you and God bless you all!
