Lake Murray's ONLY source to rent Deck Boats and Double Decker pontoon boats with a water slide off the back. Our Pontoon Boat rentals are better than anyone else in Columbia, SC because they are newer, cleaner and bigger with more horsepower than your typical rental boats on Lake Murray. All boats include bimini tops, plush seating, AM/FM/CD stereo, boarding ladder, depth finder, compass, lake map and more so you can cruise, tube, fish, ski, swim and relax.

We had a great time on Mother's Day at Lake Murray. Better Boating sports boat was awesome and the service was impeccable from the beginning. A big shout out to Larry for helping us set up the day and to Tyler for being on top of of everything after. Appreciate the good attitudes and professionalism.

We rented the Alpha (fishing triton) boat for a 1/2 day in January when the temperature was up in the 70's and had a great time. The boat worked great with no issues. The staff was awesome!

We rented a pontoon boat for 1/2 day in November. It was such a great experience, we decided to rent the following day, also. We had two beautiful days out on Lake Murray. Better Boating is a great resource if you are new to the area or just visiting. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and the equipment is first rate! Thank you for a lovely couple of days.

Rented a boat on Saturday September 17th. It was for the day. If you have already rented before then the paperwork is very quick. Otherwise, I would go ahead of rental time to get paperwork completed. The boat was clean and so nice. We rented the Alpha. The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed every minute. I would recommend the day rental. Time flies when you are on the lake!! Planning another rental soon!!!

The reservation through the website was simple, the employees were professional, and the boat (Alpha) was in excellent shape. The fish/depth finder went on the fritz but otherwise we had no problems. I'll rent from Better Boating again.

Rained out my kids outing. No big deal, they can't control the weather. During the deluge, though, my daughter dropped her paddle and it sank. Apparently, "better boating" means paddles that sink. My kids only used half their time, and suddenly I owed 130 clams for a paddle. They should get the $40 paddles at Wal-Mart; they don't sink. To their credit, they reduced it to 100. Bottom line, I paid more than 180 bucks for my kids to use half their time on equipment entirely likely to leave them stranded. Will not return.
