Our Pontoon Boat rentals are better than anyone else in Columbia, SC because they are newer, cleaner and bigger with more horsepower than your typical rental boats on Lake Murray. All boats include bimini tops, plush seating, AM/FM/CD stereo, boarding ladder, depth finder, compass, lake map and more so you can cruise, tube, fish, ski, swim and relax.

My experience with Better Boating is always great. This is the 4th time that I have rented a boat from them to spend a day on the lake with my family. The staff is always so helpful and kind and accommodating. We will be back next year!
What a joke! Better Boating Cancelled our reservation for a few rains drops in the Am for whole day. Charged us 450 dollars still! We called and tried to speak with Wade the manager but he was an jerk and hung up on us! I’ll be taking this up with the BBB and fighting it. FYI the rain was done in an hour and we still could have went on the boat for 5 hours. How is this place still In Business I have no idea. Go somewhere else people!
Great Experience. The workers got everything ready and showed us what we needed to know. They went over safety information and we had a great time. I will definately use them again.
After running our clean and well serviced pontoon boat out of gas, the marina came picked us up, towed us back in. They where extremely courteous given that it was my fault running the gas to empty. They charged the fair price of $87.00 for the tow and fuel on their end. I asked that he charge me $100.00 and give the rest back to the dock crew. Best place to rent from on Lake Murray.

There are several boat rental options on Lake Murray but Better Boating is the best. I've always had great customer service and you can't beat starting and ending your day at the Lake Murray Marina. I look forward to renting again soon!
