Our Pontoon Boat rentals are better than anyone else in Columbia, SC because they are newer, cleaner and bigger with more horsepower than your typical rental boats on Lake Murray. All boats include bimini tops, plush seating, AM/FM/CD stereo, boarding ladder, depth finder, compass, lake map and more so you can cruise, tube, fish, ski, swim and relax.

Very efficient however the depth/ fish finder did not work but I was not offered any compensation for it not working since it was listed as part of the rental John Connery

Had the best time on a pontoon boat for granddaughter's bday! Boat was new and clean and comfortable. Had all the gadgets. Even threw in a tube. Staff was great and explained everything. Highly recommend.

My wife and I rented a pontoon boat from the South Shore Marina location for viewing the eclipse. The boat was in excellent shape (clean, organized) and was perfectly sized for the 2 of us. The staff was very friendly. They helped us load our coolers on the boat and gave us a very thorough walk-through on the on board systems, safety and lake rules. The boat performed flawlessly through it the day and the return process was easy too. Would definitely rent from Better Boating again!

Great time and great service! Needed a last minute boat due to weather conditions and Better Boating took care of everything we needed and allowed us a fantastic family day on the water. So glad to know that they are nearby and will most definitely be using them again! I would highly recommend💯

I was disappointed that we were told the boat we were renting could pull a tube. However, when we showed up it could not. My kids were extremely disappointed. All they would say was sorry. The boat was vey clean and in good condition though.
