They do not allow parents to disapprove of ANY CDC recommended vaccines! Informed consent and parent support should be number 1 priority when I select a doctor for my child.

Business response:

If there is a medical reason for which to defer or delay vaccines we will always find a way to accommodate that. When there is no reason to avoid a vaccine we need to stay within our policy to avoid errors. There is always safety risks when deviating from the recommended vaccine schedule. We inform our families that we adhere to vaccines per CDC every time we schedule any new patient for that reason. We support our families that join our practice 100%! We are a team with them, if a family's believes and philosophy differ fro... read more

If there were no stars I'd rate them that. We left this office before and decided to give it another chance. That was a huge mistake. We sat in the room for over 30 minutes. Dr. Gomez checked his throat and said it's just red. Turns out it was strep. Thank god I went back to my old pediatrician to have a second opinion. Spent over two hours there for nothing as my kid screamed and cried as she checked his ears.

Business response:

Dear Mrs. Hirst,We try calling you to let explain how the CDC does NOT recommend treating strep at that age. We were giving you the best treatment for your child. So sorry that he ended up getting antibiotics when not recommended. We strive to give the most accurate and up to date medical care and it is unfortunate when other providers may not be following guidelines and confusing the public. We work with our parents to keep our children safe. PQC https://www.cdc.gov/gro.../diseases-hcp/strep-throat.html...

COMPLETE LACK OF COMPASSION BY THE BACK OFFICE. My daughter has barely slept because she was in so much pain from a UTI of some kind. I called to get her results and was told they needed to be signed off on and I'd get a call back (that never happened), I called back and got the results myself. I explained our situation and was told again that I'd get a call back (that never happened), I called again because I was concerned about new symptoms she had and was told an urgent message would be given and I would get a call back (... read more

Business response:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and talking to us about it. After talking to you, we have also spent time with our staff to ensure they understand what happened. We have also set new procedures to try our best to best serve our patients needs. Thank you again, PQC

I was really hoping this practice would work out for us because it’s so close but unfortunately it hasn’t. We are cash pay patients and went in for an appointment to establish care and to get an inhaler script for my daughter. I didn’t realize at the time that Dr. Gomez did not issue any refills for the inhaler. Called the office to see if they’d issue 1 refill and they refused stating we’d need to come back in. I don’t think it’s crazy to ask for at minimum 1 refill on a medication that someone has been taking for several y... read more

Business response:

Dear Stephanie, We are following guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics. It is not safe to prescribe medications without assessing symptoms and a physical exam. All we want is to ensure our patients health. Coming twice a year is not unreasonable to manage our patients health. This is what's recommended by the AAP and we will continue to strive to provide the best care for all our patients. Thank you, PQC and CP

My daughter was going there for 3 years .. we only go when we need to.. she was having problems w her ankles/feet.. Dr H (husband) recommended two places to us a specialist and then Good Feet I think it was called for Orthotics.. her pain got worse and the specialist was a joke. I went back to Dr H again.. I was not happy and said If he couldn’t recommend anyone better I’d have to find another Dr. he seemed a little irritated in general and short w me and asked where we went.. then confirmed by looking in the chart. He then ... read more
