Nice staff, good view, beautiful room. Air conditioning could have been better...
I didn't realize I hadn't visited the property in about 2 years. It's one of my "go to" staycation spot and because last minute out of state plans changed, I found myself back at the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at the modern renovation. The hotel was super clean, the staff was great, the M Lounge was accommodating and the added touch of the fitness center where the old pool used to be was nice. I'll definitely return again and again.
The outside definitely doesn't reflect the modern, clean and luxury of the rooms. The staff was very nice and everyone had good customer service. We ordered room service 4 times and all dishes were wonderful! Great selection. The reason for the 4 stars would be the parking and arriving. There was no one there to help us with our bags. It caused a little chaos because we were blocking the unload for a while when were checking in. I also didn't care too much for the parking lot and access to the building. The service was very good. The staff was excellent. The staff in the cafe was also excellent. The reason for four stars instead of five stars is due to the room. The design of the rooms is very poorly done. There are no drawers to speak of,two small ones by the closet. There is no small table to sit at and eat from. Only one dining chair. Only a small,narrow, counter top to sit at to eat. It is obvious,at least to me and my wife,the room is built on the cheap side and not somewhere to spend time other than sleeping. I wish the pool deck was open, but she gave me suggestions of where I could go outside to do my work.. I opted for the M Lounge. . Most concierge lounges are closed on the weekend and I usually take the points that are offered. . NOT HERE.. arrived at the hotel on a Saturday about 1. Breakfast buffet was available till 2... The upgraded room was nice. Bed was comfy.. Downside: no pretty view. Other than that.. I will be back for sure.. when the pool is open.. I only live 30 minutes. . #marriottrewards #goldstatusperks
