The guy that runs The scale house is awesome very friendly very helpful.
Like clockwork I get a text message almost every week saying that due to “unforeseen circumstances” and pickup will be delayed. You’d think these circumstances would be foreseen if they keep happening. I’ve probably been over paying for years, and when I called to cancel they offered me a much better deal. If you haven’t called to cancel in a long time I would recommend since you can get much better pricing.
Somehow my first review was deleted, but not sure how or why. Regardless, issues have persisted for months now. I had absolutely no issues when GFL was running it for the past few years at my place, but since Republic Services has taken over, we randomly have missed pickups, partial pickups where they leave some of the garbage behind for some reason, and/or they're leaving the cans in the middle of the road, blocking parking, & blocking our mailboxes.
The transfer station has gotten so expensive, ridiculous!
The call center had had me bounced around and on hold for HOURS (this is not the first time, either). All to check the status of a new delivery. For a large construction company… The business sales que is OUT OF CONTROL. Representatives don’t transfer you correctly, either. Have been waiting over a week, just to get a delivery date. Almost impossible to give these folks money for service. I shouldn’t feel like ripping my hair out after paying you over $580 for a 30yd that I can’t even get a delivery date for…
