This place is more of a motel. There were dead roaches on the premises, stains on the carpet and bed. We checked in and was placed in a room on the ground floor. There was a very moldy odor and the bathroom lights did not work. I told reception the place was unsanitary and requested a refund of which they declined. I was really disappointed with my stay. When I pulled back the covers, there were visible stains all over the sheets. It was honestly unsettling and made me question the cleanliness of the entire room. I requested a new room because that’s simply not acceptable. On top of that, the shower water temperature was impossible to regulate. The dial would swing from scalding hot to freezing cold with almost no middle ground. Best Western let me down this time. 1st room they put us in the toilet wouldn't flush. The desk clerk called maintenance and they said it would take about 30 min for the tank to refill the it would flush.🤢 The very nice clerk moved us to a suite. The thermostat didn't work right. It was either freezing or hot. The water in the sink was warm no matter which way you turned the valve. Carpet had big lumps in it. This property is a crime ridden and suspicious motel (NOT HOTEL). The front desk employee was unprofessional, rude, and appeared to be shouting and using profanity from the back office before eventually coming to assist us. Shortly after checking in, we began noticing several suspicious vehicles in the parking lot, including one that appeared to be bullet-damaged and another with what looked like a fake license plate. This hotel is the stuff of nightmares. The pictures online do not accurately reflect what is in store for those staying at this establishment. After seeing my room, I was shocked at the terrible shape the room was in. Everything was dated and filthy. Various stains on the carpet and other soft surfaces gave me pause. The bathroom looked like it had a sepia tone filter, but I was viewing it with my own two eyes.
