It can be confusing with 2 competing BW hotels side by side. But there is no effort to differentiate or to lure customers. On the human side, the clerk avoided answering certain questions, like "any free room upgrade for Diamond Select member?" I figured out that myself, nope. Many "out of service" signs around. No USB ports in the room. Limited electrical outlets. It means outdated. Not for the Millennials. The best part is the hot tub with strong jet.
Worth the stay
We booked this hotel due to going to Salinas for my grandma's funeral. The first night in room 205 was absolutely miserable because the ac blew out warm air and wouldn't let us change anything on it. The next day I asked the front desk lady and she came up, turned it off, unplugged it and it started working....we left and came back and it was blowing warm again so I called the front desk and the lady said she was coming up, she never came. I called the front desk again the next morning and the lady came up and reset it again... read more
