I travel extensively and I have stayed in some not-so-very-nice hotels. The Best Western in Oswego, NY, ranks among the worst I have ever encountered. I should have taken more notice when I drove up and saw 4 employees who bore a strong resemblance to the cast of Deliverance sitting outside smoking. They definitely gave me the proverbial 'once over' when I exited my vehicle to walk inside. Great breakfast included. Closed at 9am weekdays, 10am weekend.
Good hotel but it was overpriced. We booked a king bed and got two queens. The breakfast was ok, nothing special, I ate because I was hungry not because it was good.
An incredible diamond in the city of Oswego. Placed right near the water. We can dock your boat and spend the night or as I did just drive up in a regular car and spend the night. The staff were all friendly. I even had a wonderful chance at meeting the owners. They were incredibly supportive in. Very informative. I cannot recommend this place enough.
