Room has a strong smell, AC circulates the smell, rundown hotel, damage in the shower ceiling, dings on doors, walls, breakfast not a lot of choice. I would not stay again.
They say they are pet friendly, but the rooms offered were in horrible condition. The bathroom ceiling looked like it was falling down, the floors were damaged, the walls were falling apart, it looked like someone had started painting the walls and stopped. The hotel looked mainly empty and I can understand why. The one positive is that they canceled my reservation for me, with no issues.
The only reason this place averages over 3 stars is because the staff is great. They are friendly and helpful, and it’s definitely not their fault the property is outdated. The back parking lot is so small it feels like something you’d find in a crowded beach town. I usually like Best Western and have had good experiences at other locations, but unfortunately I would not stay at this one again
Traveling from Texas to Ohio with 5 guests (2 adults; 3 kids). The room was great! The space was beyond what I had imagined when booking. The room was clean and up to our expectations for the cost. The beds, however were less than par. The mattresses are definitely outdated and in need of an upgrade. They were extremely hard and the springs were noisy every move we made. Location is good.
