I RECENTLY BOUGHT A SMALL SUV FROM BEST OFFER AUTO SALES IN DETROIT, MI. CONSIDERING THE MILEAGE AND THAT THE CAR HAD A 'REBUILT' ENGINE, THE PRICE SEEMED FAIR. THE DEALER EVEN THREW IN A 12MO. BASIC POWERTRAIN WARRANTY ($600 MAX PER CLAIM). I PUT 'REBUILT' IN PARENTHESIS BECAUSE NOT EVEN 4 DAYS AFTER GETTING THE CAR HOME (I LIVE IN OHIO), THE ENGINE BLEW.
