My parents brought and surprised me with a brand new HP Laptop that included Microsoft Office 365 and Virus Protection for Christmas this year (12/25/2016). We took it to Best Buy on Monday (12/26/2016) to get it all processed and the Geek Squad guy said it would take about two days to get it all done due to backlog of stuff they had to do. i received a sirrus radio for xmas. have been having trouble for quite some time with it going in and out. took vehicle back to store and they cleaned antenna. that helped temporairly. still going out a lot. they told me that i would need to schedule an appt to have it fixed. went today to back of store were they do installs and customer service door was locked. the hours of operation were clearly posted. so upset with this i went in front of store. went to area where stereos and radios are and 1 associate was waiting on peo... read more
I could not find the stereo items I needed anywhere..... I walked into Best Buy and within 5 minutes had everything I needed and everyone I ran into were nice and very helpful!!!
After a purchase of a new Dell desktop computer, it crashed after a very small amount of use. (Less than 2 hours) I found out they have a 15 day return period. Geek squad said Windows 10 needed to be reinstalled at my cost. Geek squad also threw away installation and driver disk making it extremely hard for local tech person to get computer up and running again. I do not consider this to be good consumer service.
You guys just lost a $600+ sale because no one in the Apple section would help my mom & me. Heading to hh gregg!
I usually shop online or preferably local, but for many tech purchases I like to actually get my hands on a product. The staff here is mostly knowledgeable and are great about helping find more information, and if one associate doesn't know something, they'll quickly get someone that does.
