You get good and bad with Berts. The Good? Excellent showroom. Great parts and accessories department. Good people working in there. They have pretty decent selection of vehicles. The prices are on the high side, but you can negotiate a better deal if you are savvy. The bad? It's a painful buying experience. They made us wait hours and hours to get this deal wrapped up. Best Place for Biking Needs – I've been to Berts a couple of times & I allways get great customer service. Went to the parts department this last time looking for a part for my Dirt Bike. Jessie Garcia helped me out. If you ever have a question about your bike & need a no BS answer talk to Jessie he know his stuff. He was very nice & willing to help me out. Outstanding Service Department – Miguel in Service came through for me when I really needed some repairs. Miguel persistently contacted the manufacture and fought to have them (Ducati) cover some work. Within a few days Miguel called me with some good news. Ducati agreed to stand behind their name and cover all the work. If it wasn't for Miguel's hardwork, dedication and persistence I would have no choice but to pay for the repairs. Do Not Use Servise Department – DO NOT GET SERVICE at Berts, I took my quad there for complete service and valve adjustment, $550, first time out the motor blew apart, totally destroyed. The shop I took it to said both spark plugs were loose and it got it so hot the piston seized which took out the rod and crank.. I took it back to Berts they had the service manager (who knows nothing about customer service) tell me that the rod pin busted (he said very common in Yamaha)(why would I ever buy another?) and for me to pound san... read more
