Bert’s Foreign Auto Service is an independently owned and operated full-service repair and maintenance facility. Established in 1962, Ron Jakobs has owned and operated Bert’s Foreign Auto Service for more twenty-five years. Ron started in the automotive repair business when he was 16 and has worked for many independent shop owners up and down the coast before he purchased Bert’s Foreign Auto Service from his father Bert Jakobs in 1987.

I bought a used car and went in there with a couple of issues that I needed addressed. The suspension was making noise. The brakes were squeaking and the engine vibrates a lot. I was not aware that for $120 they only hook up your car to computer and if it shows faults, they tell you it has a bunch of faults. We need to fix them, but at the end that they can clear the faults and then to come back and charge me more money. Over the last year, I brought 3 vehicles for service to Bert's. A 1994 Mercedes E420, a 1997 Mercedes E420 and a 2007 Mercedes E550. All required expert diagnosis and extensive work in various areas. The service has been exceptional each and every time, and the costs were always reasonable. Ron strives to give his customers the very best. Bring your car here and you cannot go wrong. ALWAYS honest and fair. If you are looking for a great place to get your foreign car serviced, please give Ron a call. I promise you won't be disappointed. He will help you out and turn you away if you can get a better deal somewhere else. I know this because he did it with us.
