Beyond a doubt he is brilliant kind caring and always has the patient in mind and listens completely and respects his patients input. He is the best of the best !!! He is loved by patients , fellow MDs and office staff. He has always helped me Immensely and communication is always spot on w/ the doctor. He is so brilliant as well as compassionate. The office staff —eh - but seeing the best makes it all worthwhile
Dr. Battaglia came into my live in 1993, he is very courteous, friendly, does not talk down to you, explains things so you can understand what is going with you and what course of action to take. He's great and listens to you and not just rushing out the door. I have told family and friends over the years you want someone good that see him. In our book he has a 5 star rating. Staff is always friendly whether you are downtown or at 5000 Brittonfield.
In April 2007, I had a seizure, and was diagnosed with a meningioma, Surgery needed to be done quickly, so I had no time to shop for a neurosurgeon. Fortunately, I have made a full recovery, and even 10 years later I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Canute and his staff. His pre-surgery consultation showed extreme confidence, and Dr. Canute's approach was very re-assuring to me. Neurosurgery is a risky procedure, but even a skilled neurosurgeon can't always be successful.
Dr. Canute may be a good neurosurgeon but he doesn't care about his patients! I would recommend that you ALWAYS bring another person with you to ALL your appts. who can act as a witness to what is discussed. If you have a choice, see someone else.
After six weeks of excruciating pain, multiple tests, and medications that had no effect. Dr. Canute listened, he was so very compassionate and was truly concerned about my pain. Together we came up with a plan and while the pain remains for a short time longer, Dr. Canute gave me hope for recovery. Dr. Canute is not only a gifted physician, he is also wonderfully kind. Two thumbs up for certain.
More like a factory than a Doctor's office. Very long wait times in both waiting & examination room. Has a patient portal & encourage patients use it but is horrible in responding & refilling script request. Staff is rude and not caring. Very rushed after waiting all that time to see him. Calling him is virtually impossible. Staff protects him like the president & will never get a return call. Yet when I expressed my dissatisfaction, he did call me to fire me as a patient after 17 years
Absolutely fantastic doctor. He and his staff were always available to me and treated me like a human being not some paycheck. I was very scared prior to my surgery and Dr. Canute and his Nurse practitioner Linda Casey set me and my family at ease. I arrived on the day of surgery unable to use my left leg and in excruciating pain and woke up post surgery with full mobility and almost no pain. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Canute and his practice.
Dr. Berkery is the most wonderful doctor I have ever met. He is so smart, kind, and LISTENS to every word I say and is willing to help me with any problem I have. There isn't a better physician.
RUN AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This doctor is reckless, arrogant, rude and butchers patients ! He doesnt consult with a team of doctors before performing surgery "never had a problem" that turned into nothing but complications. As a result my step father seized on table, had several strokes (still doesnt speak), is paralized on the right side, lost part of his skull due to meningitis from dirty utensils used during surgery.Then after surgery in ICU wait and see is all you hear no medical analysis
