We have constant problems with the bus transportation. It is unreliable at best. Nobody in the superintendents office has cared to return my calls. My son misses his first class frequently. This is stressful for the students, teachers and parents. Bless the bus drivers who are running multiple routes - I hope and pray this gets fixed for next year.

While all of my children have attended the Hanahan schools, as well as myself, the middle schools administration leaves much to be desired as they do NOTHING for a child being bullied. But the BUS SYSTEM is in serious need of an overhaul. My 3rd and 4th grade boys were told to be at their bus stop at 6:20 am daily. But the bus continues to be so late the the middle school bus passes before the elementary bus does. In the last 3 weeks the bus has been on time TWICE. Do something about this!

I love the schools,my daughter is currently a seventh graders. However, the transportation department is deplorable!! Bus is frequently late. Today for instance, almost one hour the students waited for the bus. They do send a text saying they will be late but no ETA is given so the kids must be out there or else they will miss it. My daughter sent me message saying "mom,I want to go to school!" What kind of a message are we sending if the transportation department doesn't make it priority to get the there ON TIME??!!

My children attended Hanahan Elementary, Middle and High. I also taught at the Elementary school for 21 years. I taught the 4 year olds (CDEP) program. Loved my students, parents and enjoyed working with faculty/staff and administration. My children received an excellent education. My son graduated 1st in his class. Thank you to all who have touched our lives.
