I live at madison court apartment in Warminster . Absolutely horrible to deal with, you are just a number paying a bill, they care nothing about you. They have cost me money over the years by making changes and not passing them along. They are now making me pay a water bill that I have never had to cover during my six years in their building. My rent goes up like clockwork every year but there has not been a single improvement to my apartment. They raise your rent so they can give themselves raises and hold conferences in Florida. Tyrannical, infantilizing, low pay grade for the industry. Disingenuous, lying, kool aid spewing, non family friendly, no concern for work life balance.
Sadly when I moved in I was told rent increases are usually only $10 a month each year, and now you guys jacked it to $30 a month each year with no plans for renovations. Sucks to be lied to by your leasing agents. The building also has an ongoing rodent problem that they are too cheap to fix, and there are no plans for renovations. Sure, that increase makes sense for an older building if you put in new floors, countertops, etc but you can find a better place for the same cost elsewhere.
I absolutely recommend Berger Rental Communities. I live in Millerscrossing Apartments in Millersville PA and have really enjoyed the last 2 and a half years. I love my apartment, the Community and all the staff members. If I ever have a problem it is always taken care of promptly and reasonably. The community is a wonderful place to live and is great to raise children. I have 2 daughters and this community has been so much fun. We love the pool and taking walks. I've lived at Highland Manor for almost two years and I cannot wait to leave. This experience has been a nightmare. i discovered a hole under my stove where mice were coming in and the wires were frayed. I've heard absolutely nothing for a week now... someone came into my apartment and stuffed something into the hole and put put out a couple mouse traps but didn't leave a single note. I applied online for an apartment while in the leasing office (which the leading agent didn't tell me was going to cost me $45 to do) and was charged $250 for a hold on the apartment. I responded within the allowed 48 hours that I was no longer interested in the apartment and would like to be refunded my hold deposit. I was assured that this was no problem and a check would be mailed shortly. 3 weeks later I FINALLY got my check and it was made out to THE WRONG NAME! If you're looking for an apartment where parking is next to impossible, then Village Square is your place. There are more cars than apartments, and if you find a spot close to your apartment, you're lucky. I have lived at Village Square for about 18 months and the lack of parking space is now the worst it has ever been. If you find a space and your tail end of your car is protruding into the yellow part of the sidewalk, your car will be towed, and $250 to get it back. Make sure you bring cash to get your car.
