We were there today at 8:30 when they opened without a appt for our cat, Bubba, who was very sick. They put us in a room right away & Dr. Shaw & her assistant took very excellent care of us. Bubba was vomiting for a few days & very listless by the time we brought him in & had stopped eating on Saturday. They did blood work & gave us a treatment plan & said that if he wasn't better by Tues(Monday is Labor Day) to bring him back in & they would call us on Tuesday to check on him. I love these people. Dr Suss and ALL the other vets are so caring and thoughtful. Their staff is always polite and happy to see my dog. Very knowledgeable and willing to take time to talk and explain everything.
My first visit for my Rat Terrier was yesterday for a check up. I was referred by a friend. The service from Doctor Suss and her staff was exceptional! We will be going back. I highly recommend Bergen Veterinary Hospital, if I could give more than 5 stars I would.
Love the care and time spent to with us as 1st time patients. It was as if they knew us forever. They didn't push any extras on us an the fee didn't brake the bank. So happy to have a great place to bring my furry babies .. I highly recommend this location.

We brought our kitty to Dr. Suss today for his hurt paw.. Dr. Suss and the entire staff were wonderful! Thorough, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and explained everything to us perfectly! I will definitely be bringing my dog there as well from now on!
