Instead of purchasing somewhere else we decided to support local. Unfortunately I strongly regret buying from Bensons. Their delivery team was unprofessional and careless. They put dents in the wooden stairs, gouges in the wall and took a chunk out of the banister. Their delivery team is in no way equipped to be careful nor do I think they care.
I love supporting small business, and can whenever I’m able to. I, myself, am an independent contractor in a small business and know the importance of customer service. That being said, I feel I was mistreated and taken advantage of at this point. I brought home a $450 machine that was already out of service- a tech came to my home and fixed that problem right away- but 6.5 months later the transmission goes out. REFUSED to repair a broken oven because THEY couldn't figure out where the model # was. wouldn't even call me back to tell me this, I had to call 3 times to even be told that. NOT PROFESSIONAL! And if they wont bother to find the model #, what else wont they bother to do????
Very cheap and poor installation of a dryer vent.
We ordered a part for our washer December 21st and we were told it would be in Monday December 23rd. The part did not come in then , but we were told it would definitely be in the next say by 1. Guess what....it's now December 26th and they now have no record of even ordering the part! Do yourself a favor and avoid this unorganized joke of a business!

My family and I recently purchased a Maytag Dishwasher from Benson’s Peoria and had it installed. From purchase to installation the service received was great! The sales staff was knowledgeable and the install crew took great care of removing items in preparation for the install then carefully placing them back as well. They were on time, efficient and pleasant to be around. They have earned a loyal family as customers moving forward.
Seems like most of the time people only post a review about a company when they have had bad service. I would like to compliment the gentleman in the Pekin store for helping troubleshoot and solve my dryer problem. Cost less than $20 for a new part and no charge for the advice. Obviously saved me quite a bit of money if I would have had to have someone come out to repair. Big thank you for the great service!!
