I had a melanoma removed from my back. This created, what I thought, would leave a large scar. My Family and I are pleasantly surprised on how well it is healing. Dr. Pulikkottil has been very caring throughout this surgery procedure and has been excellent in answering all of our questions and concerns. I would also like to commend his entire staff for creating such a friendly experience for all of us. Would certainly recommend Dr. Pulikkottil and the Swedish Hospital facility.
My son was in a bad motorcycle accident in May and was taken to Swedish Hospital. Dr Pulikkottil was there to repair an open wound on his foot where he lost most of the inside of his foot. He was so amazing to deal with. We spent a couple months in the hospital and he was in everyday to see him. This man definitely knows his job and I would highly recommend him and his practice, you can not find a better surgeon . It was a very long process, but he was able to beat the odds and save his foot.
Three months ago I had a terrible injury to my hand that required surgery. I saw Dr. Benson and he took care of me like I was part of his family. I just got back to playing golf and I couldn't be happier! All thanks to Dr. Benson !
Dr. Benson Pulikkottil is an excellent surgeon! His bedside manner is amazing and he is super compassionate. I wouldn’t have recovered so well if I wasn’t under his care. Thank you Dr. Benson and his staff!
Burnt my hand. He saw me once and told me I needed a skin graft. TWO skin grafts later he never followed up with me personally. I saw him in the hallway and he didn’t even recognize me even after I called after him. His nurse practitioners are worthless and released me with a bad wound and said I was done with follow-up care when I still had a badly healing graft and bleeding from the surgical site. I followed up with an actual trusted doctor that was ran out by their practice due to Medicaid

Our practice is run by two board certified plastic surgeons, and midlevel providers are specially trained in burn and reconstructive care including proper wound management. We never discharge patients who present with open wounds that require management. We are sorry for any breaks in communication that may have happened at your follow up visit. I wrote a review earlier that was not accurate. The doctor did call me and discuss all of my concerns and it was established that there was miscommunication. We were able to clear the air and correct the issue. This has completely restored my faith in him and the plan moving forward.
Dr. Pulikkottil is an incredible surgeon. My mother had some life threatening health issues which required an impressively long and creative surgerical solution to those issues. There isn't enough space here to describe our trust and appreciation for his expertise. This is someone who truly cares about his patients, and he was a beacon of light during a time of which the memories still make me cry.
