This is my favorite brunch spot in DC!!! The *brined* chicken and waffles as well as the vanilla french toast are absolutely delicious. On my last visit, I got the shrimp and grits. It was delicious, however it was a small portion so I ended up ordering a Belgian waffle as well. The only thing that bothers me about this restaurant is that they don't have a chicken & French toast option on their menu. Just had the worst experience! The Bartender was horrible. She barely greeted us, and gave little to none eye contact. However, she was very friendly towards all the men she services. So when my half done wings came out and I expressed my dismay with my food she just snatched them from the table without saying anything. So when they car back out the same way I told her I don't want it. She took the plate without saying a mumbling word to the manager Carolyn who was sitting a few tables down and she just laughed. The music and food were ok. Our bartender was not a people person at all. It's the holidays and when you working the bar you should be more attentive and welcoming. She had a bad additude and seened like she was only there for her money. The food came out quickly so that was good. Bens the bar next door is a great place to chill with friends and have a great tine. Loved it
