Had a colonoscopy with the doctor before moving to Arizona. I found Dr. Garrett to be a suburb doctor. Excellent bedside manner, concern for me, outstanding and the colonoscopy went smoothly. Sorry there is only 5 stars. I can give. James B. Speed

I’m sorry I posted so soon. I believe Dr Garrett’s assessment of my condition caused me a lengthy hospital stay and almost cost me my life, all of which could have been prevented. I have been much happier with his colleagues.
Without hesitation, I would recommend Dr. Garrett as an excellent GI doctor! He’s extremely knowledgeable in his field, patient and understanding. All of my procedures were handled with great attention, comfort and ease.
I just had my first routine colonoscopy, which is always daunting. That said, Dr. Garrett and his entire office staff were wonderful and very reassuring. The procedure was effortless and I felt very confident about the procedure. I would highly recommend his practice. Thank you!

I have been seeing Dr. Garrett now for many years (I can't really remember how many). I have stayed with him because he has earned my trust and respect. I have no problem referring others to him when the opportunity arises. I do not make references lightly.
When I was first referred to Dr. Garret I did my homework. I spoke with nurses at St. Joseph's hospital and everyone said if they needed someone to do a procedure on them they would want him to be the one to do it. So I felt confident going to him. He is so kind and caring and shows empathy for whatever your fears may be. He immediately puts you at ease. He has great follow-up and I would highly recommend him to friends and family.
I’ve been a patient for several years. I appreciate that Dr. Garrett takes the time to listen and discuss options. You never feel rushed.
