One of the most notable activities in Bendigo, the small cafe was really good, fast service and good food/coffee. Worth a visit.
One of our fav cafes. Relaxed, friendly, good coffee. Most of the seating is outside, with big trees to provide some shade. Not much shelter if it's raining. Right beside the bike/walking track. Dog friendly.
We spent a really enjoyable couple of hours using the tram to have a conducted tour and to visit some of the highlights of Bendigo. The driver and conductor were very helpful. The gold mine is worth seeing and so is the really excellent Bendigo Art Gallery near the Charing Cross tram stop. We also liked the relaxed small central shopping area.
I brought the talking tram experience for my partner and I, to have a more engaged way to explore the town of bendigo and learn about its history. When we arrived at the gold mine deport the customer service was lovely and efficient, as well as informative. However when the tram had arrived and we were to embark on our journey there was no safe system to get onto the tram, other passengers pushed my partner and I out of the way, stole the seats I asked the conductor to raise the barricade on so I could help my partner onto t... read more
