Benchmark is, by far, the worst company I have ever dealt with. After living in my unit for a few days, I developed an uncontrollable cough due to mold exposure. When I expressed my concerns to Benchmark's staff through several emails and phone calls, they thought it would be best to completely ignore me. They kept telling me that my property manager was not available and that he would get back to me. I wish I could give Benchmark a -1 star. The property managers are rude and don't care about their tenants. The property that they lease to me wasn't ready for anyone to move into. They didn't let me look at the property before I moved in and the pictures that were posted online looks nothing like the property inside. The property managers refuses to fix the bathroom tile which can cause mold in the future.
