Failure of an organization. Imagine offering someone a job, having them put their 2 weeks in, and then tell them 4 days before they start that they don’t have a job. It’s the kind of thing that ruins households. This place is an absolute disgrace to the field of social work and if you are considering applying, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. THEY WILL ATTEMPT TO RUIN YOUR LIFE.

Worked here for a year and would not recommend it to my worst enemy! The gary/merrillville location is trash. Regional director literally doesn’t care about her employees, the children or foster parents, she cares more about animals. Often running personal errands on company time and is never available when TSS’s need her for anything. If you want a high stress job for minimal pay this may be for you. But don’t for a second believe you’ll be paid a fair wage working here in any position!
