What a great example of a national corporation going above and beyond—not only does Ben and Jerry's care about their customers on a local level (nicest employees in town, y'all!) but the company also speaks openly about important social issues in the U.S. that many tiptoe around or ignore. I'm grateful to have a local branch of this company in my community because I know they use their influential national platform to advocate for people groups that many Americans otherwise ignore. Plus the ice cream rocks! :)
