great place I had a great time there, nice service. I ordered the steak and shrimp The steak was pretty good. The shrimp was a little salty but I still liked it. Fast service that allows you to catch a train or game at MSG.Great for dinner but don't go if you have cholesterol issues - the mashed potatoes alone will put you over the edge.

Ben and Jacks I am 2 weeks late on the anniversary dinner, I could have gone to three other high end steak restaurants in Scottsdale, I am under pressure from Wifet. Let chop chop, get the place open

Great Place to Eat in the City! – We ate at Ben and Jack's last night for the first time. From the moment we walked in the staff was attentive, warm, and friendly. We were seated immediately in a cozy alcove which made our experience even nicer. Our waiter was knowledgeable, and very helpful with our selections from the wine to the entree. The steak was cooked to perfection, and served expertly. I highly recommend the fries, and the mushrooms, both were a taste sensation. We also had the Ben and Jack's seafood dish which can... read more

Great Food – nothing better than a good old fashion steak house, nothing better. The entire menu is what I grew up enjoying, from lobster, steaks, shrimp cocktail, crab meat, potato's, and the best shoestring fried onions anywhere. Jack is usually at the restaurant always with a smile and willing to get you anything special that you might want. Mike the bartender is by far the nicest guy you will ever meet and will make a great drink too.

great food and service! – everything was so fresh and prepared great. we started with canadian bacon, fried calamari, shrimp cocktail and caesar salad. all was so good. for entrees, the porterhouse was incredibly tender and cooked perfectly, the chilean sea bass was out of this world, and even the pasta with seafood was one of the best dishes i have ever tasted! great service (our waiters were very nice and attentive throughout), and the restaurant is beautiful. my guests were very impressed. we all can't wait to visit again... read more

Above Average, More Convenient Than Peter Luger – Went there to celebrate finishing the marathon. Let me start by saying that I think Peter Luger is overrated and has been sliding by on it's reputation for years. There are too many great steakhouses in Manhattan and B&J's is a perfectly good alternative to PL. The service and decor is much nicer, they actually treat you with a little bit of courtesy, they accept credit cards and they're much more convenient to get to. They have nice options for non-steak eaters, a nice wine ... read more

Peter Luger tribute steakhouse spinoff. – Ben and Jack’s is one of a number of nearly indistinguishable but generally satisfactory steakhouses modeled after the famous Peter Luger, in this case by two former waiters. It’s a spinoff of the first Ben and Jack’s, which is located in midtown, and the food, service and ambience at the two restaurants are exactly the same. Expect the same sliced porterhouse (served on a tilted sizzling platter), gruff waiters, tomato and onion salad and all the other earmarks of the ersatz Luger e... read more

OK at Best - Not the Greatest Steakhouse – We decided to give Ben and Jacks a try. I've definitely been to better steakhouses. The waiter was nice, but forgot to give me my mash potatoes to go, which was disappointing. The steak was decent, but I prefer Ruth Chris. The ambiance was tacky, in fact there was a big hole in the bathroom stall. Frankly, I expect more, and have gotten much better for a meal that costs $200.
