Benjamin Franklin came out to my house because my pipes were what they call hammering or clanking. This was the only reason to be there. The plumber looked at the pipes and water purification in my garage. He said he could redo the piping in the garage for about $6000. He also said he could put a new purification system in with an included water softener and redo the piping only in the garage for $16000. Remember my need was only pipes clanging. Service guy was nice, price was too high, went another direction. Quick update, even worse than I thought. I fixed the issue by tightening a nut. Service guy didn’t even look for the issue just said pay me $544 to fix or $750ish to replace. I fixed with 10 mins of unskilled investigation.

Don't let these people in your house! I paid them to service all of my ro filters a few months ago. Even got a receipt that says they serviced my RO filters. Now I had them out because a housing is failing and they quoted me $100 to fix it and wouldn't take no for an answer. Then they came back to the door 5 mins later wanting to do it for free. SUPER SCAMMY!
