They've treated my dogs and one cat with loving care always.They've kept my beloved pets healthy until nature said it was time to say goodbye. Even during the tough times, they were there for my pet and for me with care and compassion. From front office staff to vet techs to the vets themselves, you'll be glad you entrusted your four-legged member of the family to their care.
BVH has been wonderful over the years with pets of various family members. they are thorough, kind, gentle, and take the time to fully explain 1) what is wrong 2) possible treatments 3) recommended treatment and why. I drive from Chevy Chase to get to this vet, I trust them that much.

I picked up my cat tonight after 3 nights of boarding. He hates being in the car and normally cries the whole time but tonight he only meowed twice. As soon as we got home I found why; he was struggling to breathe. I rushed him to an emergency vet who took films and found his lungs to be full of fluid. I almost didn’t make it to pick him up from boarding tonight as we hit really bad traffic but am so grateful I did. I fear that he would have died in the kennel with how labored his breathing was and how cloudy his chest films... read more
