I went to go show my friends this place. This is what's left of the building I remember in my nightmares. Almost a decade later i have PTSD hallucinations from my experience here. I went here before it was renovated via 302 because I was trying to report my sexual assault when I was 14 and had it turned against me! Workers took bets on fights. I saw people assaulted here. I stayed at Belmont Behavioral Health for five days, and it was a really bad experience. While I was there, there were two big fights, which made it feel unsafe and stressful. A lot of the staff were rude. When I asked simple questions or needed something, I would sometimes get yelled at or talked to rudely. Even small things could take hours sometimes up to six hours to get, which was really frustrating. It didn’t feel like the staff knew how to handle teens with mental health issues. My son was hospitalized here for his clothing being stolen and shoes and blanket given someone else belonging and told that that's what given they gave us two outfits that aren't even my child size. Shoes that didn't even fit his feet when he came in with shoes on his feet that were blue and duffle bag of three pairs of clothing socks and under pants.
