Terrible service – I can't even give it any stars because we never made it there. This is how it happened. I made a reservation for a surprise birthday dinner for my mom. We were a party of 15 and at first the manager (Jimmy) was accommodating saying that we can bring flowers and balloons. Ruined My Night! – Bellini Grill was a TERRIBLE experience. There were several people there with BOXES of wine and JUGS of wine; engaging in what appeared to be under age drinking. Upon arrival, our table was not ready and the owner/manager was terribly rude. We literally waited an HOUR before leaving because of the rude, sexist, lying owner who continued to tell us that we would be seated, but we never were. Fabulous experience – The 6 of us arrived on time. Four entered the restaurant and I remained at an outside table with my smoking friend. A gentleman came out immediately with an ashtray and 2 wine glasses (I guess he noticed the bottle). We did begin our evening in the more than perfect weather and then joined the others inside. So Good!! – The food was amazing! A friend and I split two entrees: Papardelle Chicken Porchini and Chicken Parm. The waiter, Rick, was the best. We were there for a bachelorette party dinner and he was so great to us and we had a great time talking to him. Definately go here!

Not going back. – I went on a busy Saturday night around 9. Was seated soon enough and my food came within an acceptable time. The portion however was VERY small compared to other Italian byob's. I had the penne Bellini. The sauce was good but the peas were hardly cooked and crunchy. For the prosucitti there was tiny specks in the dish which were barely visible or tasteable. Good BYOB – The food was good. It is a very good location. For a byob it was not too noisy or cramped. We had a 6:15 reservation on a saturday and were sat immediately, as we were leaving there was a wait, so go early.

Calamari was very good – The bread was also good, however I would like for it to been warm and the butter soft, it was hard like they had just taken it out of the freezer. The place is very nice and our waiter was very personable. I went there last night for restaurant week with my bff, I got the cabrese salad, it was good and the calamari was good, although the pieces were small. Very Bland Food – Me and my boyfriend went to this restaurant during the last restaurant week. we love italian food though there are tons of great italian places in the city we thought lets give it a try. the staff was very friendly and attentive. Wife and I love to dine out in Phila. Come to the City for shows at Walnut and look for small restaurants in City dine after shows. Vast majority of Phila Italian restaurant are four and five star rated, but this one let us down, and it's not necessarily the food that was of poor quality. It was the service.
