Goin' down; bring it back Bellacures! – I first heard of this place thru Daily Candy. I've been going for a couple years now for the occasional mani or pedi. Recently I must say the service has been going down big time. I drive out of my way and pay more for good service and cleanliness. The past several times, each time has been progressively worse. Best pedi on my lunch break! – I started a hectic day at the office and could not wait for my lunch break. Someone at my office suggested I get a pedi at Bellacures! This has to be the best place to go if you need to take a bit to unwind from the office...I tried out their Let's Do Lunch pedi... and they had my lunch waiting for me when I got there (a yummy and light chicken salad). Great Pedi experince this weekend! – My friend took me to Bellacures this Saturday... we got thier special "Detox Pedi" and it was so relaxing, thorough & cleaned my feet so freakin well. My manicurist was so nice and she did a great polish job. I loved this place... I will definitely be back... oh and also, I loved the chairs and the comfortable environment. I give it a 5 starts because it passed all my requirements: clean, good job, comfy & good polish.
Overated, "short service" and not what I expected for a spa mani & pedi – So my girlfriend suggested we go here (she is new in town and had never been) this weekend, for a "spa mani/pedi" I have heard of the place, but had never been, because for 8 years, I have been going to l.a. vie l'orange (a few blocks north on Robertson right past melrose), but since it was walking distance, I agreed. Great pedicure that lasts – A friend recommended Bellacures for their great pedicures, so I tried it out on Saturday afternoon not long ago. I called a few minutes ahead of time, and they made a spot for right away. The bright, airy atmosphere is very comfortable, but not at all pretentious, and the mani-pedi tools are sterile. the best - not cheap but so worth it – the best manicure pedicure i've ever had! my pedicure lasted at least 3 weeks - i'm now due for another one and while i can't always afford bellacures, i really don't want to go anywhere else now that i've been there. i also got a foot treatment for calluses and my feet are still baby soft a month later! comfy chairs, great products. actually, i just figured out that i can afford bellacures, since their manicure lasts twice as long as the cheap shops. really no comparison in LA.
A Nail Salon that lives up to its reputations!!! – Everytime I visit Bellacures I realize more and more why this place keeps getting voted the best nail salon in LA. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! – I found this place on citysearch, and it was voted #1 by the editorials, so I thought it would be a great place to try out! So I made an appt. for a mani/pedi and I arrived on time, I had to wait 10 min. to be seated (which I didn't understand since there were technicians free and just roaming around the shop very non-chalant). Mr. "Clean" is in town! – Best nail salon I have been to. I am very picky about where I go because you have to be careful. The chairs are cozy and the tools are taken out from a secure sanitized package. Friendly staff and each person I have had an appointment with did a good job. Prices could be lower but worth it.
