Monica Marquez is not only incredibly talented, she is a fantastic stylist because she is a good listener. My hair is exactly as I've envisioned it, only better now because of her. I think it takes great skill to do hair, but it's even a greater skill to be able to listen to your clients needs and, dare I say it, read between the lines. I showed pictures of exactly what I wanted (black roots melting into purple with pink ends to hide my roots) and what I didn't want (stark roots showing with a uniform peach pink color). I've never spent so much money and time at a salon and been so unhappy with the results and I've had my hair fried. After +6 hours I walked out looking the exact shade of horrible I didn't want, but now with an even more visible outgrowth.
