More money, more money... For the second time, Belden's on Fredericksburg tried to screw me with repairs that were not needed, or the "mystery repair" that wasn't there when I dropped the car off the first time. Sounds like s shop that't trying to make an early Christmas bonus. Crooks! I won't be back, and hopefully, nither will those of you who read this.
Belden's Automotive is GREAT! I am so pleased with Beldens Automotive, they went out of there way to help me get my car picked up and delivered to me. They told me exactly what my car needed and offered me a great price and a better warranty than the dealer! I have since recommended them to two friends and they both loved the Belden organization. I know recommend all my friends to go. Great job Belden family!!
My 1st Experience With Beldens I am new in town and went to the Fredericksburg Rd location to get a oil change, lube, rotation and state inspection. They charged me $110 because for the oil change they "Used a great cleaning system procedure their customers like." I neither authorized this nor would have let them add a cleaner to the oil system. Then the mechanic noted, "An oily substance floating at the top of the coolant." My car has 185,000 miles on it. Duhhh! Stay away from this place. Bad news outfit, in my opinion.
No issues I've taken my car there twice and, Yes, if they see something wrong, they'll recommend getting it fixed. They guarantee their work for a year, not too many places do that. Since I've taken my car in, I've had no issues. If you want quality work, take it there.
Taking Their Sweet Time Had dropped by the Fredericksburg Rd location the day before, made an appointment to have the yearly state inspection done and the tires rotated and balanced. Showed up at 8 AM the next morning. Receptionist said it would be about 1 to 2 hours, and asked if I was going to wait there. Told him I only lived 3 blocks away, would walk home and back to pick up my vehicle, and to give me a call. I FINALLY get a call at 1 PM (5 hours later)!!! Stay away from this place !!! My father in law was looking for another shop nearby at 13287 made the mistake to end up there at wrong address 13811 San Pedro , spend over 2 hours there ending up paying $95.00 for a blown fuse and lost one hours work , believe the personel there to be smooth saleman and will overcharge anything they can get away with , Stay away from this job , there is another review by a AAA inspector possing as a dumbe blond , do yourself a favor and read it , it will open your eyes
A&M DAD! I have used Belden's Automotive for Years, Great Service friendly staff, they always call me with estimates first. I love Belden's Automotive & Tires. My daughter broke down on Spring Break coming from College Station A&M, they worked with us and got her back on the road in TWO DAYS. Thank You Ronnie & Rusty great service!!!! Always recommend you!
Nightmare DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT go to Belden's Automotive! I wish I would have read the reviews before going here. I dropped my truck off bc it was making a sound like a loose belt. They mentioned that I needed to change my exhaust manifold: $450. They ended up charging me $650 to include a sensor change and the inspection fee of $98. The worst part about it, is that when I pulled it off the lot, the truck stalled. It has stalled like 4 times from driving it for two days. It has never done that before. Great Experience I took my 04' Ford F150 to the dealership several times and could never get the problem fixed. Also, everytime I was there I felt pressured to buy a services that I felt wasnt needed. I decided to try Belden's after a buddy of mine reccomended. I took my truck there and the problem was fixed the first time. They were pretty busy but it didnt take to long to have it repaired. I dropped off my car and they gave me a ride home.
