Had a great appointment with Dr. Jackson, and glasses consultation with Shawn. Dr. Jackson was super knowledgeable, went through the tests, explaining along the way what she was checking for, and clarifying my questions quickly and succinctly. Shawn took time to clearly reviewing my insurance coverage options for frames, giving great suggestions about sizing, weight, and colors - and she helped me pick out two fantastic sets that were covered by my insurance and fit my preferences. Dr. Jackson is friendly and the visit is effortless with their advanced tools for checking your vision. Shawn is very knowledgeable in selecting frames and lens, even finding a source for a new pair of the same frame I already had and love. I can see clearly because of these folks.
This is a wonderful place for eye care. The facility is clean and has a warm and bright atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Dr. Matney is very knowledgeable and was able to correct my prescription to allow me to see correctly without headaches. Previously the eye doctor I saw gave me a prescription that was too strong which made it difficult to wear my glasses. I PLAN TO RETURN! This vision clinic is truly exceptional! The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful, while Melyn (Tech) was incredibly knowledgeable and understanding, addressing all my questions. Dr. Jackson was very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in explaining the health of my eyes. Opticians Keziah and Shawn were also very helpful in assisting me with selecting a stylish and suitable pair of glasses. Update 2024: The staff has changed and it’s still a great, kind, competent group. Excellent vibes in the clinic and I really enjoyed my appointment with Dr. Fordyce. Dr. Gil is great (he is patient and funny) and the staff here is wonderful (Jenny especially is probably the greatest human alive.) I’m so glad I found this practice. It’s never a chore get my terrible eyes checked.
