Was concerned about parking, yet when I arrived for my test, discovered a large parking area for handicapped right passed the side entrance. Security desk in entrance way were very helpful in directing me to my appt location! In, tested and out under 1 hour
Many cancer patients cannot walk very far. NO Nearby parking! did they forget this or ? All nearby places are filled up first thing in the morning. Most neaby places are on a steep hill. Maybe it was assumed that all patients would be too sick to drive and would be dropped off by a paid driver. The Parking Garage is not close. The building is luxurious.
For Oncology Department: Heroes wear white coats and scrubs. Dr Tang and Dr Chinupatti helped us transition into the “new extra” with so much care and support as well as Marybeth and Caryn the social worker, who were notably amazing. As the health advocate for my aging parents, I’m handling and mishandling plenty, so to feel the load lifted as they did throughout this experience was&is really something to be grateful for.
