It is no secret I love Beck's Bakery and their owner Rhonda Wiedenbeck. Beck's crackers, breads and pastries are made with locally grown grains. Rhonda knows the farmers by name and attends the plantings and harvests. She is really furthering our "local grain economy" as she calls it and if you haven't tried her products please do!!!
Seed bread is the best I have ever tasted! Bravo!

Becks breads and treats are outstanding - the hand-made, home-made flavor is baked in to every loaf of bread. I turn to Becks for my special bread or baked good treat. I love the rye brownies. I pick one or two up at the Arcata Farmers Market if I'm in town on a Saturday. The rich, chocolate of the brownies is balanced with just enough sweetness to satisfy. I'm a chef/fellow farmers market vendor, I got some flour for baking and grabbed a black shortbread @ the Arcata market.. Big mistake, I should have bought them ALL!!!!! Can't wait to have them again... Asap! ;) Xoxo!
