As I also wrote on my own page, I have just recently tried West End Rye, not the first bread I have tried from this bakery, but certainly now my favorite. I lived in Austria for nearly 20 years, and this bread reminds me of the tastes of Vienna! It is especially delicious with butter and apricot jam in it!
I was purchasing the curbside sourdough bread from Beck’s when I decided to try my hand in baking it myself. I bought some flour and Rebecca kindly gave me some starter and I was off. The result was nothing short of amazing, but it might have been beginner’s luck.
The sourdough baking class was so much fun and very informative!
i really love the whole grain cranberry walnut bread!~but all the breads are delicious!...i appreciate the fact that they source whole grains that are locally grown and then grind the grain onsite at the bakery...
