Semi-Good Cut, Bad Hygiene – I recently visited this salon in Cypress and was not very impressed. The salon is attached to the owner's house which was confusing bc I didnt know what I was looking for. I had to re-check the address on my groupon deal just to make sure I wasnt parking in someones driveway. It's very small and old-fashioned. Some might think its "cozy" with it's cabin like feeling, but to me it just seemed low maintenance and dingy. Shop around the corner – I am not the owner writing the review, but a longtime customer. My whole family (grandma, mom, and three children) are frequent customers and have been so for 7 years. We love the personal attention and the attention to detail. Diane and Jacque will work to make sure you are satisfied. They treat you like family. They are patient and willing to work with you. My whole family loves this shop and we are happy when we leave!

Love This Salon !!!!! – I have been to many salons and hairdressers but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and how comfortable they made me feel, Like I was family. I was very happy with the highlights and the haircut I received. I could definitely tell they have alot of experience because I told her what I wanted and I got it. Very happy customer !!!!!!!

Bad color, decent cut – I bought a groupon for cut and color and booked an appt in september. sat down and went thru books and picked a color that matched my current color (medium neutral brownish red) and toned down my brassy hair. 45 mins later i was looking at very dark black/purple/red disaster on my head. she (the daughter) used something to strip the color and while lots of it came out, the damage was done. came back after dinner, mom pulled me thru a cap and lifted out more color. still dark and unflattering. only rea... read more

Best Decision! – I've never trusted any salon, or hairsylest with coloring my hair. I normally use a box color and just do it myself, but I have been noticing that my hair's condition has been getting more and more worse. I decided I would get a cut and ended up walking out with a new hairstyle I am in love with! Diane talked me into pulling out my natural color (my color was bleach blonde, my natural was dirty blonde). A Great Hair Day – I too bought a Groupon to Beauty Secrets. I'm one of those people who write reviews to everything and everywhere I go. I love my hair. It's been almost 5 years since I put color on it so I was a little hesitant about doing so, but Jackie went through the magazines and brochure of colors to help me pick out what color would be best for me. You're better off cutting your own hair. – Easily the worst haircut I've had in my life. I went here because they featured a deal on Groupon, $13 for a women's haircut, and the salon is near my house. They had a five star rating on City Search.... Which now, I can only assume was mostly made up of reviews written mostly by family, friends, and/ or the owners themselves. Excellent Service! Friendly Environment! – If you like good ol' southern hospitality, then you will love Beauty Secrets! I moved to Houston from California and found Beauty Secrets online. Great Haircut – I found Beauty secrets on City Search went in and told her what I wanted as far as my color and cut and she did a wonderful job. I was very happy and they were very nice and friendly. I have since had my mom have her hair done there and she was also happy with her results. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.
