Serena is very knowledgeable about products & the chemistry involved. Very up to date on hair styling & coloring. I sought out this salon because of the use of organic products & an all natural developer. She only uses the top quality products and my hair looked very natural. It was very different from previous salons where the hair color was so full of chemicals that it took my breath away and burned my scalp. Organic/natural is the way for me! BTW, Serena is very hospitable and friendly as well.

I absolutely love my haircut and Serena! I was way overdue for a haircut and my ends were split pretty badly. My hair was also super dry so I was not giving her a lot to work with going into it. I was extremely impressed with how much length she was able to keep while leaving my hair so healthy looking. I can easily style it in the mornings -It looks good both natural and straightened. Who knew my hair could look THIS amazing? When she turned me around to see in the mirror, I was like "Wow! WOMAN! What kind of MAGIC do you WEAVE?!?" Five stars for her relaxed and thorough consult in a dreamy Paris style atmosphere, that led to the finest keratin, color and cut Ive ever had. Im impressed. Period.

Serena has a gift in her hands for hair . Too bad i find her before i move out of the Raleigh area . I went to her salon 3 times and my hairs look now much healthier . I highly recommend her keratin treatment and the New York dry cut and highlights . Her technique is very professional and she is very friendly .

Was looking for a stylist who knew how to cut hair and I must say Serena has never disappointed me. She listens and produces the results. Clay is also an excellent stylist. He goes the extra mile and does an excellent job. If you are looking for a salon which has good vibes, laid back and you can tell they love what they do and are good at it, look no further. PS: Very few stylists can cut dry hair with the precision that Serena does. I like knowing what length my hair will be when I say "cut"!

I absolutely love Beauty Lounge! I followed my hairdresser there right when the shop was opening a few years ago, and though my hairdresser no longer cuts hair, I stayed with the shop. I drive over forty-five minutes just to get there because Serena is so helpful and friendly, and I've received amazing service with my cuts, nails, and treatments. Serena truly puts everything she has into that shop, and you can feel her heart there! I highly recommend the shop to anyone!

I booked my appointment via online portal. a fantastic feature compared to other salons. this was an important feature for me- anyone who has ever spent time on hold while a receptionist checks availability knows what i mean! Went there recently using a Living Social deal. I could not have been happier with my Shellac manicure by Ian. Ian did a fabulous job and gave me some spectacular nails. I told him that I liked glitter and bright colors, my nails were spot on. I have received compliments every single day about how cool they are. It has been over two weeks and they still look great. I would not hesitate to go there again, actually I can't wait!

About a year ago, I decided to let my hair grow. My current stylist was great when my hair was short, but as it grew, she was unable to give me a cut that took advantage of my natural curl. My sister, convinced me to drive from Gboro for an appt w Serena. I'm so glad she did. I love my hair, & get lots of compliments, especially from men. Never thought that in my 50's my hair would work with any length on it but Serena did it for me. And yes, she is great w my color too. TY Serena!
