I love my bird a trout knife. It sharpens nicely and keeps a nice edge for a good while. Plus it's made in the usa and my neighboring state.

my trapper is a great knife. easy to sharpen to a durable edge. carbon blade. fit and finish are first rate. I use it hard as EDC. my son and have matching peanuts in stainless. nice gentlmen 's knives. attractive laminate wood handles. they don't get the tough use so I can't vouch for the character of steel in stainless.
