my partner was sent here and it was just not a good place if you want them to get better. the "daily schedule" posted is a lie. they hardly do any therapy and the patients do absolutely nothing. they cold turkeyed my partner off his meds and then immediately put him on two new ones so he was miserable. just avoid this place
If I could leave lower than one star I would. This place and staff is a nightmare! Neglect- YES! My daughter was sent to this facility and it is horrible. The staff constantly scream at the patients. My daughter asked for a hairbrush and was told they were out of them. Also, wore the same under garments for 4 days because they didn't have those either. My husband was transferred to the facility this evening where a massive fight broke out and a water cooler was picked up and thrown at other patients. My husband needs medical treatment which they do not provide the nurse that answered the phone when I called earlier said we're having a major emergency no One is safe right now I will let your husband know if and when it is safe again. Can anyone tell me who I can call to have my husband removed from this facility his life is literally in danger medically and physically
Put an 88 y/o, from Golden Age nursing home, in this hospital for evaluation... She had a prior dx. of dementia... Shame on you..ruined her..
Oceans hospital doesn't teach them from and wrong they do what the clients wants too. People gets beat up by other clients it is wrong they don't know how to run an behavioral hospital.
