I went to Beachside Optometry today after very unpleasant optometry visits w a large eye Dr conglomerate and I'm just overwhelmed w the kindness, patient friendly and upper-end technology at Beachside. The dr was not rushed, explained my condition clearly, and treated me w respect! I'm 86 and find that I sometimes feel belittled by businesses since I'm "old" and don't move fast or understand technology. Dr Melissa was so sensitive to my questions as were all of the employees. Thank you, Beachside!
I’ve been needing glasses for quite a while, but kept putting it off, finally made an appointment with Beach cities and it was absolutely the right thing to do. The office is super nice, And everybody that worked, there was amazing. I got my prescription glasses dialed in and will have them in two weeks! It was a great experience and definitely glad I chose them!
I do not recommend seeing Dr. Melissa or Dr. Kristi. First, I want to make it clear that this review is not about Dr. Jenay. She has been my optometrist for years, and she has been wonderful. I have a very complex prescription (-14 with astigmatism), along with floaters, a vitreous detachment, and chronic dry eye. Dr Janay is a true gem in her field. Shes a self proclaimed eye geek and she pointed out things I found interesting. TEAM STARS IN THEIR EYES. The orderliness of the office, moving patients right along from the prescreening phase, to the office visit was quick and efficent. Full disclosure, the opticians seem to be kind humans, but my frustration is with the entire situation. My prescription was placed in the hands of one of the opticians, when I told them, "no thank you, I'd like to get mine online to save money." They were... read more
