My mother who lived in Beach House Memory Care for eleven months had a very unfortunate experience with this facility. Prior to COVID, I visited daily to make sure she was being cared for. On 9/18/2020 VITAS Hospice called me & confirmed that Mom was not allowed out of bed and was no longer provided meals because “she took too long to eat”. I immediately initiated a change in Hospice facilities and had her evaluated and moved to a Hospice House. RecommendedMy Mother has been in Beach House since Covid 19 started..& the staff has gone out of their way to make us all feel at ease. They have set up window visits and sent LOTS of pictures & provided many activities for our loved ones .. so they can feel special and at home. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my Mom to be than Beach House. I know she is safe and I know she is very well cared for! The peace of mind has been priceless!!!!
I can’t express my gratitude to all of you. Not only have you been amazing to me, but I think this is the first time in almost a year I have seen my dad laughing and smiling. He said he’s happy...words I have not heard from him in a long time! This could not have been possible if it wasn’t for all the amazing players who got him there. Thank you Jessica!!! And Al!!! Staff is exceptional in memory care.
Great dinner tonight. Salmon or chicken, fresh asparagus, spring mix salad with feta cheese and candied walnuts, watermelon, yeast rolls. Great company. Thank y’all
