Starting last night i was having a great deal of pain in my left eye do called Virginia Beach Eye Center this morning and thankfully within an hour i was signing in and getting seen. The staff was very considerate and did everything they could to improve my comfort level while diagnosing the issues. Dr. Kurz quickly figured out i had pink eye and thankfully no trauma as o was concerned about and have me a sample of eye drops to use. Dr. Kurz did cataract surgery on my left eye May 21, 2015. He put an implant lens in to replace the one he removed for distance. I could not believe the difference. Every thing was crisp and clear, and not yellow. I didn't know how bad my sight was, until the day after. Then I found out it would be June the 10th before he did my right eye. I was under the impression both eyes were done at the same time. I was very frustrated at having two different visions in between. Everything about this place was wonderful. The staff was very nice and informative. My surgery went great and I have never seen everything so clearly. Its a little over a week later and I have never been so happy.
My six year old son has had a blast getting his eyes checked! Professional staff and very friendly.
Everybody at this office is professional, and beyond courteous...they are incredibly nice. Dr. Kurz had the best chairside manner I've ever experienced. Highly recommend this office for optical needs as well as ophthalmology if you need it. First class business and a wonderful experience for me.
Virginia Beach Eye Center is the best. Dr Garrett has been my doctor for many years now. I recomend him to people all the time. Of the many people I have recomend see him friends, family, and associates at work none have been dissatisfied . The staff is courteous and helpful. They are very thorough. I will continue to recomend Dr Garrett because I think he is the best .

Staff very professional. The tech that did my refraction was very knowledgeable. She never made me feel like I was failing. Loved Dr. Kurtz. I will definitely make this my permanent eye care center.
