I unfortunately had a terrible experience at the salon today. To preface this, I want to say that I consistently get gel x manicures, about two a month for the last three years. I decided to give this salon a shot today because my normal girl was fully booked and I was about to leave on vacation so I needed my gel x nails removed. What I received was careless work, open rudeness, and a complete disregard for my time and money. Angel at BCBG overbooks herself into 40-minute slots and makes you feel every second of it. KAT IS AMAZING! I don’t know about anyone else or the reviews I saw, but I’m PICKY and she is hands down a nail saver!!! She really took her time with my cuticles, focused on the health of my natural nails, and didn’t rush anything. That meant everything to me because I care about what’s actually mine. She’s also super personable and real. My nails were thin, and instead of upselling me something more expensive, she was honest and told me to skip extensions and go with bio gel/regular gel to get my nails healthy again. Every time I go there, any type of gel nail that I get, even builders gel, lifts by 7 days. It should not lift that soon.
